The
Maine Physical Activity and Nutrition Program and the Maine Nutrition Network, in collaboration with their partners, are pleased
to announce this unique opportunity. These four skill-building sessions will address evidence-based nutrition and physical
activity promotion strategies and will be useful to individuals and organizations working in the community, school, worksite
and healthcare settings from the local and/or state levels.
1. December
11: Make Change Happen: Implementing Evidence-Based PAN Practice, Bangor Civic Center
2. January
8: You Can Do It! Translating Social Marketing Principles into Practice, Augusta Civic Center
3. March
4: Go for it! Implementing Evidence-Based Nutrition Practice, Augusta Civic Center
4. May
7: If You Build it Will They Come? The Built Environment and Physical Activity, The Eastland Park Hotel (Portland)
CEUs will be available for Registered Dieticians, for CHES credit, and for general attendance.
Maximum benefit will be achieved for individuals who attend all four training sessions,
therefore a significant discount will be given to individuals attending all four sessions when they register for the fourth
session. More information on registration fees is forthcoming.
